So i changed the fuel filter and after that the car ran idle and died shortly after. I asume it would be air in the fuel system since the car ran fine before the change of the fuel filter.
I have tried to pump the air from the fuelfilter. (and yes i filled the filter with new diesel) but with no succes. Any better spot to try to pump out the air? im clueless rn.

The important thing is to make sure you haven't got the fuel filter the wrong way round. It also helps if you prime the filter first, following the instructions given.

I've used this method several times and never had a problem starting the car afterwards.

Also DON'T fill the filter thro' the centre spout, only thro' the IN spout. It helps if you buy a priming bulb and attach it to the centre spout and draw the fuel thro', topping up the filter from the IN spout till fuel appears at the centre OUT spout.
