Today i think i found where the whining noise is coming from.
Sounds like the belt but it's coming from the alternator.
The question is:
Is it alternator's bearings or the brushes need replacement?
haynes says they can be replaced: Had anyone done this and can i get brushes from froud(price?)?

probably the bearings i would have thought , if it was me i would be going for a recon / exchange alternator :L

my battery was dead this morning.
? maybe related maybe not. checked the voltage couple of days ago everything was fine.
