Another I've just cleaned my car thread!

Hi all. I wash my car weekly, but as I drive a lot on country roads, it never stays clean.
Here is a shot of my car, one day after it was washed and then polished (I even dressed the tyres)

It's still pretty shiny, but it does make me laugh to think that it probably gets more dirt on it in one hour, than some of the 'cherished' cars on here do in a whole year lol

I should have thought the moral here was if you dont want mud on your dressed tyres "keep off the grass" :stir: :} :}
I can sympathise. Mine was done by the local Eastern Europeans straight after it passed it's MOT (as I mentioned in the other thread). Three days later, after a 50 mile round trip to watch the Red Arrows doing an early season practice display at RAF Cottesmore, the car looked as dirty as it had before the wash!

The roads are just so kacked up still after the winter, that they don't stay clean for long.
Very true, but I do need to drive on the grass, as well as very muddy roads (and not just mud at muck spreading time!! :sick: )

What the picture does not show is that the car is about 200m from the road, in a field.
My sister was driving in this exact spot late last year, when she wheel spun on the wet grass....All I could hear was her screaming, as loads of mud was shooting up in the air, and then coming in through the open sunroof :} :} :} :} :}
Who has all the cherished cars on meg then? I only know of martin's concourse st24 that isnt a daily driver :confused:
Anyone who loves to clean their car more than me..lol

I do have it washed (by someone else) but have had it ten months, and have only washed and polished it once myself!

I am making a start on getting it clean for Duxford, and have the floor mats in the kitchen for cleaning...If it stops raining, I will get outside and try to get all the sawdust and wood shavings out of it lol
Anyone who washes their car more than once a year is hardly a bufty, its not like this site is full of mint RS's on ltd mileage policies!
All our mondies get filthy we just dont post pics of them when mucky :L

:whistling:

As the last one shows, it does clean up quite well. When I can be arsed.

thats a sick photo
If you worked where I do then your car wouldn't stay clean for more than an hour, in the rain make that 10 minutes, tops. Makes cleaning it more worthwhile and is worth it for the money they pay me (just) and some of the cars I get to drive sometimes lol
