best bet is to try and get another unit and swap the fronts over. all the 6xxx seem to suffer.
Any Way To Repair Volume Control / Selector

Is there an easy cheap way to repair the volume control selector on the 6 CD Changer head unit?
Mine jumps back and forth even though you are turning it the right way. Still have the control column, but its a bit maddening for adjusting the other values..
