Managed to get an auto dip mirror off ebay but that's all I got :alert:

I know I need some form of electrical connection and a mounting thingy :whistling: but can anyone let us know is the electrics part of a loom or an add on bit with a plug each end available from fords and if anyone can help with the finis code for the mounting thingy would be greatly appreciated :L

a good place to start is what mk of mondeo have you got , i.e. mk 1 2 or 3 :L

Mirror off a Mk3 Mondy :L

Live from the car illumination, ground from the courtesy light and the third wire is for the reverse lights i believe.

and the mounting plate you can get from Ford

FINIS Code - 4560785 @ £3.63 ex vat

best stuff to stick it with is Rear view bonding kit thingy from Halfrauds at £4 (the one with the tube and the mesh)

Wiring for a MK3 mirror from my scribbled on bit of paper is:
Pin 1 Green/ black wire - Ignition live
Pin 2 Black - Earth
Pin 3 Green/ red wire - feed from reverse lights.

just mirror with a hole for a multiplug :blush:

Is the wiring part of the loom or is it an add on piece with a plug each end

i think i may have a spare plug, you can wire it in via the 'How To'.... with just a short piece of wiring...
