DO NOT BUY A FRAM. I put one on mine a couple of weeks ago and it brought the coil on flashing and fooked my car up due to the flow rate being insufficient.

Go for a delphi or Bosch. Few ppl on here use Bosch, but get it from a motor factors instead of Ford will be a lot cheaper.
thanks for the warning..seen both delphi and bosch on the bay for £16 and £14 respectively incl postage.
fair price ??
OPs car is a Tddi, when i had a tourneo Tdci it came fitted with a Tddi filter (look the same/same casing, but £5 not £30)

it had only been serviced at Frauds

was told the tdci has a finer mesh to protect the common rail parts

if anyone has a Bosch Tdci filter number it would be nice to know it
The filter I recently replaced on my car was a Bosch filter with 'Ford' on it so I'd go Bosch personally.

The part number for the Bosch fuel filter is 503590120 on Euro Car Spares site but might be their own part no.
ordered the bosch one , came today off of the bay ...doesnt fit , totaly different to mine.got the 3 nozzles on top but certainly the main one that uses the spring clip to hold it into the top of filter is nowhere near big enough, the other 2 look small as well.
bugger :angryfire:

what was the ebay item number?
No item listed for that number.

How long ago was it when you bought it?
bought it 29th march relisted item number is 330419399600
What was the year of manufacture for your car? Looking at the relisted Ebay item, it only lists as sutable for the TDDi from September 2002 so it looks like earlier models had a different filter.

Looking at it, it certainly looks like the filter I fitted on my '06 TDCi so probably listed okay.
thats the same buyer/item ive bought

great
the listing covers pretty much all Mk3/4 diesels?

FORD MONDEO 2.0 DI & 2.0 TDDI FROM SEPTEMBER 2002 ONWARDS

FORD MONDEO 2.0 TDCI FROM SEPTEMBER 2001 TO MARCH 2007

FORD MONDEO 2.2 TDCI FROM SEPTEMBER 2004 TO MARCH 2007
yeah looking at the listing it seems pretty universal for the diesels hence i thought no problem getting the right one.had no issues in the past from motor factors , just wanted the year of manufacture & that was enough.should exchange it anyway, just waiting for email from the guy.
what year/model/tddi-tdci is yours then?

2002 tddi ghia hatch
regd when?
FORD MONDEO 2.0 DI & 2.0 TDDI FROM SEPTEMBER 2002 ONWARDS
the seller should mabye put the applicable engine codes in his listing or state early Tddis have different size ports
looking at me v5 its reg`d march 2002 hence the cock up. :annoyed:
