Bio fuel being added to diesel

Whilst re-fueling my car 1.8 tdci i noticed in small print that 7% Bio fuel had been added to the fuel . My car is on ford warrenty , the manual says only 5% can be added will this affect the warrenty ? This is a supermarket pump , price is 5 pence cheaper than in main stream garages .

the question is techincal and will probably not get exact answers that is unles your motor gives trouble and you have to take it to a main dealer for the moodel wererupon they will probably immediatly test the viability of the fuel and find it not up to their spec after which i leave to your imaginnation what happens next ..my advice to people using a ford motor expecially a diesel is to buy popular branded trusted fuels like Esso ..texaco. shell. or other good brand fuel it is not and i repeat not worth the saving of a few pense buying supermarket fuels as they are not determinable in use..as in the last few years in the U.K the debacle regarding fuels and ruined engines.now forgotten by some but firmly in the memories of anybody who purchased these fuels at the time
Which supermarket? Tesco is supplied by Greenergy (Tesco own 25% of them apparently) and they state only 5% bio is added.

The garage is morrisons at Yeovil
I have used the same pump before and never noticed the small print , I hope it is a new thing . I certinly will not be using it again , if I find any other garages doing this other than super market ones I will post it on the site thanks for your help.
From this year all Derv has to contain at least 5% bio content so its something we are going to have to live with
noticed yesterday that the jet garage near me has sticker on pumps saying it contains 7%
I work for an oi major (Total) and UK government said all fuel must contain minimum 5% bio
also as regards to tesco using inferior deisel thats B**L as all the supermarkets fill up at the nearest refinery.
whaere I work nobody has a special blend only for them
If all diesel has to contain 5ish% bio is there any point in adding more? I see in our local rag that a biodiesel club has formed selling it at 90p a litre would my Mk3 2004 suffer if I added some to a tank of ordinary pump fuel?

I certainly wouldn't add any more bio, my '96 Discovery TDi runs nicely on it but it really doesn't seem to suit common rail diesel engines at all, plus you don't actually save a lot - not when compared to the bill for a new set of injectors.
its not just injectors at risk tho

bio doesnt lubricate the new breed of high pressure common rail diesel injector pumps, thats £1500 worth of repairs when needed....
Having just spoken to my local garage owner ,apparently bio fuel has been being added for the last few years whitch has been subsidised by the goverment , as from tomorow 01/04/2010 not only is there a 1p tax increase but also the subsidy will stop adding at least another 1p plus there is vat on this aswell making aprox 3p rise in fuel tomorrow or when garages re fuel. This also is the same for petrol !
( please do not ask for info regarding garage there will be no reply )
