Whenever I open my Mk3, the boot mechanism constantly unlocks as thought someone is repeatedly pressing the release button inside the car.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Any idea what the problem might be?

Well it's stopped repeatedly unlocking.

But now the boot button and interior button don't work.

Could this be a fuse?

We have just taken a mondeo in at work in Part/ex with the same problem.

I would have thought that the central locking would have been on 1 fuse allthough I maty be wrong :blush:

I would take off the boot liner and have a look at the lock itself,for anything obvious,I would have thought this more likely than the boot switch on the console.
