Hi i have a 2003 2.0 tdci when i go to start the car the boot lock opens on its own, any ideas, thanks.

Hi, I've got the same problem on a 02 TDCI Zetec.Have seen other posts with same and no answers I'm afraid.

dodgy connection somewhere , does it have the internal boot release on the dashboard ??? , if it does then i would disconnect that and see if it happens , if not the remove the bootlock and see if there is any corrosion on the connection to it , a start if nothing else for you :L
