Remove the two torx screws and lift the latch out enough so you can see the rod,then disconnect it,you then should be able to remove the solenoid. I think that's how I did it,but that was years ago.
Thanks for that. It was a very easy job when I got down to it. How did you come to the conclusion that the solenoid needed replacing i have a problem with mine not opening with the button have to use the key all the time.
