since ill be off for two weeks hols i have decided to spend it round the car lol.Has any one ever used alloy wheel cleaner on the 5 spoke zetec s rims im a bit scared on which one to use incase i make them corrode the way them rims do

used wonder wheels on mine and they come up a treat , some ppl on here swear by oven cleaner , personally i wouldnt :sad:

personally i use the tesco alloy wheel cleaner...

though my alloys are the stock alloys so probably a different case with you

oven cleaner does not contain acid where as wheel cleaner does, i refuse to use wheel cleaner as you dont know what damage the acid is doing to your wheels plus the fact it isnt exactly cheap and you will hardly use it.

quite right , however , oven cleaner uses caustic , does that make it any better or worse :whistling:
