Hi,

1996 2.0i Auto Saloon

Has anyone got any ideas before I spend £80 + VAT at ford's?? This is the scenario so far :-

1. Brake lights not working (blown) - Changed bulbs
2. Still not working, changed fuse, all ok.
3. A few days later pressing brake pedal causes interference on the radio
4. Inteference stops, brake lights not working again
5. Bulbs ok, fuse has blown again
6. Changed fuse again, fuse blows again

Any help or opinion that I could try before taking it into the garage will be appreciated

Do you have brakelight in rear screen or spoiler. Is there a plug for carevan or so?

Just the 2 standard brake lights, no, 3rd brake light or caravan connections
