I have a blown dipped headlight bulb on my V reg Zetec and I have heard that to replace it I need to remove the front grill and headlight assembly. Is this true?

And does anyone know what type of bulb I will need before getting the tools out?

Thanks

unless you have tiny hands youll have to remove the headlight, its only 3 boltsand hey presto.the bulb you require for a dipped main beam is an h7,also have you considered upgrading your bulbs, osram silverstar and phillips vision plus claim to through 20% more light on the road and are definately much brighter.

I've changed headlight globes twice and I'm sure it shows what to remove in the owners manual.
2 screws for grille out, then 2 or 3 for headlight assy. It is very simple and the screws are quite obvious when you have the grille out of the way.
