Good evening all

What a fantastic site?

Missus has a 2007 C-Max and the cigarette sockets stay on when the ignition is off. They don't turn off after 20 mins etc as the Dashcam stays on too.

Is there a noob way to switch them off, when the ignition is off please chaps?

Cheers

Check the fuse - in some cars (Mondeo Mk3 included) you can fit the fuse in 2 positions.

There are 3 connections, the centre one goes to the lighter sockets, one is ignition live, the other is always live.

If yours has thsi move the fuse and it will chnage to on only when the ignition is on.

Thanks. That sounds easy enough. Will give it a go.
