Hiya folks,

Can anyone tell please me whether my cruise control buttons should light upon my 2000 Ghia X? I'm fed up trying to find them in the dark!

Also should this car have door interior pull handle lights? I don't want to go looking for them if they aren't there.

no they dont light up and you should have illumination in the recess behind the interior handles

you could be right there because they did away with the AWS system at about that time

I don't have an AWS either, I have bought a kit off eBay though. That project could be interesting!

No door handle lights or wiring on later MK2's i'm afraid (ones with chrome interior door handles).

Correct on both counts, I had a Mk2 Ghia X, no illumination on the Cruise Controml and no interior handle lights :L
