Has anyone fitted cruise control to a TDCI?

Ive fitted the airbag/buttons but no joy.

My inital thought is a PCM update, but im just wondering about the pedal switches. Could someone with cruise take a pic of pedal switches so i can compare.

After talking to 3 fraud dealers ive been told

a] you need a new PCM, wiring loom, swithces, actuator and hours on the WDS.
b]Its not possible "if that was possible we would do it all the time mate!"
c] why not buy the 04 zetec on the fourcourt it has cruise.

I know the TDCi doesnt need an actuator, i cant see any missing wiring.

Any help gratefully recieved.

On my model which is a 2004 petrol. The linkage for the throttle goes from the gas pedal in the cab to the actuator (which is mounted on the bulkhead on mine) then to the air inlet.

I am not sure if cruise was available as an option on your car. If it was you should have the wiring in place by the break pedal & on the clutch pedal.

If you don't you would have to put in all in place yourself. As for time on the WDS, yes they would be some time but not hours as you were saying.
