Just noticed after all these years and 8 MK1's that they actually changed the exterior styling on MK1's, early cars have a body trim on the front wing with the indicator mounted above

Whilst cars from mid 96 onward have no trim on the wing and the indicator mounted lower down in line with the door trim

Anyone else noticed this before?

i new about it as well ......, they did it on the last of the MK1's (some N's and most P's) they also changed the headlight glass from having internal plastic things that go yellow to the direction filters being part of the main headlight glass.

I dont think they made any other changes

Ah but my P reg has the newer style indicator but still has the plastic headlamp lenses
