Hi all,

My first post to MEG (make that second, the first one was an Intro).

I am someone with basic knowledge of cars (the kind that knows where the key goes in the car and how to drive it) ;)

My car battery has started going flat overnight. Is there someway i can check whether it needs replacing?

And if it does, any idea what kind of battery i must get?

thanks in advance..

hello mate at this time of year it does take it out of your battrey, its because 50% of the time you have your lights ,heater plus all the other stuff on when you normally wouldnt..more battreys go down around this time than any other..id see if the water is low first just unscrew the caps at the top and see if any of the cells are dry you can top the water back up with the proper water from halfords or somewhere simular....

if not then its the battrey just take it to a local store and they will match the best one for you

kev :L :L :L
