Hi All, came to swap out one of my injectors today, I have an early (02) 130bhp Mondy, and had somehow come to the conclusion that what I needed was a 301z which is what I bought. Came to remove the old one and it's a 101z..as are all the others. Exactly same size and length, but the 101z has a bulge or collar just above the screw thread, where an O ring sits...as in the green Haynes manual page 4B10 picture 12.8. Whereas the 301z is just a straight body so nowhere to fit the O ring. Question: Is my cylinder head designed that it has to have the O ring for sealing the cylinder from the head or will the 301z (without O ring) do the sealing ok just with the threads.
Can't find any spec. on the 101z and the Delphi pdf catalogue here
http://www.hella.com/hella-at/assets/media/Delphi_Katakog.pdf
only shows the 301z for my engine.
Any thoughts gratefully received...ideally don't want to 'suck it and see' with the 301z as it is brand new and I'll hopefully get a bit more for it if it's not been used.

101 = 130bhp

301 = 115bhp.

So if they did fit OK the fuelling will be off..
It might run and it might be like a bag of spanners.
