Any know what the rubber pipe coming from the airbox to the EGR solenoid valve is used for.

Is it to apply pressure to the EGR valve at WOT to keep it closed???

Thanks

Small rubber thing on my EGR goes to the rear N/S of the engine bay to a small plastic looking thing which also runs a rubber hose to the brake servo (me thinks)

I then have a rubber hose running from the black plastic thing going to my K and N.

I dont know what it does either im affraid mate but im guessing that the black plastic thing in the rear of the engine bay is something to do with vacuums. (un educated guess btw)

it works like this:
one pipe goes to the egr valve, when you put a vacuum on it activates the valve, the vaccume comes from the brake system, then when it isnt pulling a vacuum it needs to just vent to the open air, so it does this to the airbox so its filtered just to make sure you dont get crap in your pipes.
