I've got new one, was due today but looking like it'll not arrive until next week.
I've got to drive 100 miles per day next week.
Will doing so without working engine temperature sensor harm engine?

Dunno. Have you got the special socket to change it tho' .?

Just the gauge not moving? Checked with an OBD reader to see if it shows any temperature change?

I've got the split socket I made from last year.
Obd comes up with sensor not working

I was thinking more of the live data not an actual fault code. What temperature does the lice data give?

No reading for temp on obd or dash replaced temperature sensor.
Back up to full power/turbo etc😁
