Hi there ,
I have a dpf issue I believe, it doesn't seem to ever regen, I put a new fuel vaporiser on the car last week in hope it would trigger a regen, according to forscan the vaporiser glow plug is always off, (I've checked at the fuse's)

I logged some live data for few long runs and noticed egt13 always show 10degree c , never moves , would this cause the car not to regen ?

I'm absolutely stumped

DPF load up and down from 85 to 118
DPF soot 111
Pressure 1 at idle sometimes hit 21 on acceleration

Please help guys , cheers

Did you reset the DPF learned values and clear any error codes?

On my 2.2 I read CATEMP11 and CATEMP12, they getup to about 650 celsius when doing a regen, not sure if its the same for the 2.0

Hey
yeah I reset the learned values but they soon jumped back up ,
I also read cat 1 and 2 and they get to about 350 max , soot level climes 1 every few miles, haven't had any codes yet but I know when it gets to 300 it should go into limp ?

My car has 3 temp sensors and 13 is definitely separate from the rest. If your DPF is the type with a loooong pipe before the filter then it should be a 3 sensor too.
If you look next to the downpipe above the crossmember you should see all 3 connectors.
You probably have a duff temp sensor that needs replacing OR the wiring has broken (more likely)

Ok,
I've been under the car and mine only has 2 sensors, does this mean the low 13 figure in forscan is just a blank reading?

If so I'm stumped, new vaporiser and a bottle of dpf cleaner added via the temp sensor hole and still no regens ,

Please help you clever people 😉

Really would be worth your while checking the DPF pressure sensor hoses.

Also need to make sure the little fuel pump for the vaporiser is priming and not blocked.

O'reillys autos has a couple YouTube videos about Ford DPF issues. Lad running the channel is a DPF specialist and besides the odd double entendre, he's very knowledgeable.

Very useful for potential DPF / temp sensor problems I have been posting about in my own thread. I'll take a look.
I'm running a 2013 2L DWC10 I believe the engine code is if you have any more words of wisdom.

Please check my thread for the error code and likely sensor culprit. From your picture and info I guess I need to follow the green wire. Thanks a lot.
