The flexi on my 2005 3.0 Ghia X is leaking but it would appear that from both Ford and the aftermarket this part is NLA.

The fallback position is to get an aftermarket flexi welded in (not simple, there isn't much space either side to weld to)but has anyone got a source of these parts or know of any other solutions?

Custom stainless exhaust or just get them to make that part. Quite a few places around the country who
can make custom exhaust parts.

When it was available at ford, it was a £450 part!

Find yourself an exhaust specialist and they will cut the old flexi pipe off and Tig weld on a new one for a reasonable price, had that done on my previous V6 mondeo and on my VR6 Galaxy which had the same dumb design but with two flexy pipes!

I have the Y pipe from my old Mondeo in the loft as a spare but depending on how much the local place wants to weld a new pipe on should my current Mondeo need it, i may opt for having a new one welded on again that as its done on the car and so no messing about unbolting it from the pre cats which is no fun as i discovered when i broke my old V6 Mondeo for parts!
