Broken springs were a godsend for me, i fitted a set of Eibach, the biggest, single, most instant improvement i've made!
thanks for the reply... i was just wondering if it would be better to do that; how much did you lower it?
Eibachs have made a big improvement on my bus. A bit stiffer definately lower but still not crashy or harsh
Think they lower 35mm on the front and 50mm at the rear. Was advised on here not to fit them without upgrading the shocks so haven't bothered yet
due to treasury issues i may have to fit the springs first.... cant really justify going from a £65 ford spring to a £135 eibach kit THEN how much on top for the shox.
Thats a big differance from the £65I started with.
i just had that, got the springs off euro car parts, £35 for a pair, bargain! :)

when i fitted my Eibachs i just used the orignal shocks and all is fine for me, they are 30mm front and 40 rear,

you were advised not to fit them without upgrading the shocks? i was told it would be ok with the original shocks and they are.

oh and like the other posta this is a really good uprade, so dont leave it to long you dont know what you are missing,
They are fine with original shocks otherwise ford wouldnt sell them.

I have heard a few people complain of shocks going after 20,000 miles of having eibachs on.
