Hi. New here. I've run three MKII Fiestas. An 'L' a? and a Ghia. They served me well and easy to work on. Everytime the tinworm got the best of them I stripped them down for parts for the next Fiesta. I spent a summer welding up the Ghia that but shamefully lost heart when the MOT inspector discovered a really inaccessible area of rot. Miss the Fiesta MKII. So basic, you knew where you were. Several reasons have brought me here to the forum. To socialise a bit, rekindle memories of the motor and maybe advise if my memory serves me well - and use the classifieds.

La sounds feasable. from memory they were an L spec car with an automatic 'box.

Hi Turbopete1 I meant to say that I had three - all different models. I was trying to remember the second. They were all manual and 1.1 litre for economy (it was reckoned to be the most economical). Had a peek on Wikipedia. Seems the model I couldn't think of is the no frills 'Popular'.
