Fitting Variable Intermittant Wiper From GLX to GL car

My GL has just the plain vanilla window wiper switch. It has single speed intermitant, wiper on and wiper fast options. Can I direct fit a wiper switch from a GLX model that has the 6 speed intermitant option or are other parts (relays?) etc. needed? Anyone done this?

Look at mirez.co.uk Website and it tells you how to do this mod.

Its just plug and play...... Remove the old unit and fit the new one with the intermittent function, nothing else needs doing to make it work :)
