just got a 2016 kuga and need to get towbar

am looking at removable

and was thinking dedicated electrics

do these need coding

Unless you remove the towing head after each tow, save your money and buy a fixed swan-neck towbar. Yes, dedicated electrics need coding, my local Ford stealers wanted £80+VAT. Local independent only charged me £325 to supply and fit a detachable Westfalia towbar, dedicated electrics and code it. Took them 2hrs.
