Hi, is there anyone that could help with a problem iv caused. I was doing a water pump when i did my cam belt and i snapped one of the water pump bolts so i put some sealant over the hole to hope it wouldnt leak but now it is so i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to remove the rest of the bolt. Any help would be appreciated.

Drill it out being careful not to damage the threads, a left handed drill bit may draw the rest of the thread
out or drill large enough to use a left handed tap to thread inside the remains and use a left handed bolt
to remove the remains.

Thanks for your reply, but i cant get to the bolt with a drill because of the frame is in the way.
Right angled drill or attachment, failing that you may need to raise the engine above the chassis or
drop it down just enough to get a compact right angled drill in there.
Could anyone tell me what bolt the water pump needs as i need to get some now. Thanks
Put your VIN into here and it should, repeat should, only give you parts and part numbers for your car
If is a 2.5 5 cyl Turbo it will probably come up with this
Looks like you need a Ford dealer for bolt(s) part number 1386519

!!!! Replace all the bolts if you have excessively tightened them before, I would as good engineering practice anyway

If you give a Ford dealer your reg or VIN he should also come up with all parts for your vehicle
