What is the Germans fascination with deep dish rims? Ithink they look terrible. The vid was ok until it started looking like a maccy d's on a Friday night :( :headshake:

thats pretty good! Sounds good! Nothing has as much rear seat room in it as a scorpio. Um i had a blue one like that one in the vid but not a V6, but still a great barge of a motor they are....!

Rear wheel drive ... you just cant beat it and so much better than FWD ... engine in the right place and gearbox where it should be with power to the back end ... :)

But Dave :whistling: surely thats just ONE aspect of driving style and pro`s for the rwd. The article covers ALL driving styles. And remember - all you need to do is adapt YOUR driving style to front wheel drive as have the competitors in the new Ford Fiesta rallye challenge series.

OOOOH I feel a debate coming on :gayfight: :woot: :gayfight:

deep dish rims rule ;) Oz the wheels are RH alurad Topline AA rims 19" to suit audi/merc fitment and are simular to the merc lorinser/aero rims........pcd is 112 on 5 stud granadas the same pcd as mercs........

on my old mk2 ghia x i had a set of merc amg penta 5 spokes (pic) which i still have and are worth a fortune now after seeing a set go for silly money on ebay a while ago....looked well smart in the 80s with the arches rolled.....

as for FWD and RWD it has to be RWD everytime...fwd just sit and spin down the pod because of weight transfer... whereas the rwd get far better traction....also rwd is good for steering from the rear..depends what peeps prefer realy as to what is best.........

lol i still say front wheels are for taking you in the correct direction you wish to go .... not fighting torque steer :woot: .. right i am taking my old fashioned idea's outa here lol ( still rather have RWD :D ) :whistling: :whistling: ;)

PS: i also like deep dish wheels .. something with a rim like Kerrys old wheels which someone else have now got .. Not mentioning any names .... JAMIE!!!! :annoyed: ;)
;)
