Ford Mondeo mk 2 2000 W reg 2 litre 5 speed gearbox

will this gearbox fit my 1996 mk2 mondeo 1.8 5 speed

the only difference i can see from looking at them is the speedo connection is that all thats diferent

The speedo/sensor type changed on later MTX's also you may find the FDR is not the same.The software in the EEC will not support a lster type speedo signal. What is the issue with the current trans?
