Hardwire ciggy lighter socket

Hi All

As above I want to wire a lighter socker behind the glovebox, where I can connect a 4-way adaptor to the 12v circuit to power all the phone and ipod chargers.

Only thing is I dont know the best place where it's not going to get in the way of the glovebox when it's shut.

Anyone got any pics of a good location.

Limited clearance behind the glovebox.

Personally i would use one of the 3 or 4 way sockets and mount that in the glovebox and feed a wire through to the fusebox. Not try and fit the socket through the box.

Depends what shaoe the plugs are and the socket you plan to use.

May well just wire up the adaptor with the original ciggy lighter wires and fix in the glovebox.
