Heated screen gone do-lally

Can anyone give us a kick in the right direction please: I've a Mk2 R reg Ghia x and up to yesterday no probs.
But today on starting the car the heated screen comes on and stays on, You can't switch the bugger off, but once it has timed out you can't switch it back on again.
I have tried a different switch but the problem is still the same.

Can anyone enlight us please :content:

Can anyone help on this strange one please.....

I've a mk 2 Ghia x on an r reg. Yesterday all was well, yet this morning started the car the heated screen can straight on and wouldn't switch off.
Once it had timed out it wouldn't switch on again.

Tried a different switch but same fault. Can anyone put me out of my misery please :tonofbricks:

Do all of your other devices on timers (heated rear window, interior lights etc) still function and switch off as normal?

Yep all other time outs fine no hassle at all just the front screen :susel:

Now sorted all the relay was function negative :eyesup:
