Hi guys. Under the engine hatch and next to the windscreen springlers there is a wiring. Does anyone know for what reason is this ? For heated windscreen springlers maybe? :L If it is true how can they be activated?

if it is the heated screnn washers they are activated when you turn on you windscreen heater

yep, got them on mine & they are activated when you switch on the front heated screen. ( same as your wing mirrors are switched on when you switch on the heated rear window )

the heated bit does not melt any screenwash in there and make the washer work when frozen but it does make the screenwash hotter before being squirted out to the screen so it takes longer to freeze again as the wipers do there thing ( unless its really cold that is )

Unfortunately I have no heated windscreen. Is there any modification I can do in order to activate them?
Note that I am electrician.
I need to buy the heated screen washers but the electrician of the local Ford dealer says that he knows nothing of this spare part.
Any help or part numbrer will be wellcome.

Ive looked at wiring diagrams and done some tests, They work from the ignition switch, I have front and heated screens and the power to the washer jets is still there if the heated windows are turned off
