heater/blower cuts out on pos number 4

thought it was the resistor at first (still might be) but is different to last time,this time works ok on 1-3 then cuts out if i put it on number 4??

Overheating motor? Likely not the resistor, as p4 is straight-through...

Im having the same problem with my 93. If its not the resistor check the actual fan switch or the connector on the switch end. I pulled my connector off and it had fused with the switch.
