Just signed up although i have looked and found out some useful stuff from your site so thanks already :L

I own a MK 1 TD just bought it as a cheap runner round really for £215 :surprised:

Its been ok had to change oil and fix leaking rear brake cylinders and shoes cheap fix though although alot of swearing involved

So felt I should say hi

Cant really complain about spending £215 on a car, even if you have to do a few jobs on it. Lot of car for a little bit of cash :L

TD's can go on forever if you look after them, and you can get a bit more oomph out of them if you are willing to turn a few screws and stuff. Sure you alrady have done but check out the Diesel Section and dont be afraid to put up a few questions if you feel so inclined
