Hello i am stumped.
About a month ago my batter warning light came on after about 500 meters and slowly drained the battery. On checking it with a volt meter it showed no signs of charging even with revs on. the battery positive terminal was getting very very hot to the touch.
It then suddenly started working and quick fit were quick to tell me that my battery was knackered.
Because of the heat and corrosion i changed the positve battery terminal and also changed the battery.
It was working fine until today when the warning light came on again.
After checking it with a volt meter again ( on the battery terminals) there was no charge coming from the alternator.
the positve terminal isnt getting hot and i dont know wherther to change the aternator or not.
Any Help or advice would be greatly appriciated as i dont have the money to start changing things willy nilly

Thanks in advance for any help.
