help oil leak found

Yep. Wouldnt be suprised if a seal has perished through it not being used enough. Honestly Gav, its why they recommed you run it for 10 mins a month as the gas contains a lubircant that stops the seals perishing.

It does need replacing if you want the aircon to work!

They aint cheap, i know that much. Fitting looks to be ok access wise, you will need a regas afterwards as well though as any gas still in the system wont be once the comressor is disconnected.

and i suppose do u risk getting a s/h one of ebay

There's second hand ones going on ebay for a fraction of that price, gotta be worth it even if it packs up in a year or so. Failing that, try a scrappy.
