Hi all,
I am a newbee in need of some info...
can some one tell what the hose clips are called
that Ford use on the cooling sytems?
my Mondy is a mk1 2L Ztec.
Also what is the tool called that is required to compress
the clips?

u can just replace them with jubilee clips, cost about 50 p each from any where and u just tighten em up with a screw driver :whistling: :L

The clips are special crimped clips, you can either cut them off with snips and replace them with normal jubilee clips or buy the special tool such as here

Cheers guys for the advice, i have replaced most
of the clips with jubilee clips, as the Ford clips
are a pain in the a*se to put back on.

Be careful when tightning jubilee clips as the smaller ones have a flat on them which can crush pipes.

Use a small pair of molegrips, easy as falling off a ....
If there's room enough.
