I do like it how its, you could alway do the centre of the seats in the darker colour of your trim would look nices

Like the idea of that actually.

always been a fan of peter harts 2-tone mk1 interior, very effective and unique, looks factory, and doesnt cost alot to do.

another similar idea is to get the cream mk3 leather seats and do it with them. the mk3 has much nicer shaped seats and will fit mk1/mk2.

Do they bolt straight in though, or would I have to fiddle around with them?

Wirings a bitch, but boltwise virtually straight swap, well was when I slapped MK3's in my MK2 (same as mk1)

i really like that interior in the pic up top. bet theres not many cream leather interiors around from mk1's!

i remember mirez used to have one and i was well impressed with it back in the day.
