I'll put my hands up and say I screwed mine by misfitting a bulb, long story. Anyhow, one of the tracks on the PCB melted meaning that half the display is now unable to power the bulbs. Has anyone ever tried to mend one or transfered the PCB from one cluster to another??

It's a long shot I know.

iv done both. I tried to run too many LEDs off the PCB. It can be repaired 3 ways.

1. replace whole PCB, but means you need to make sure its identical. Theres about 1 billion different versions

2. repair the PCB by connecting the blown circuit with wire. I found this quite a difficult job to do as you ideally need to solder the wires on. Not so easy when the heat from the soldering iron metlts teh PCB even more.

3. cut out the circuit that you need from the donor PCB and tape it into the right place. As long as the connections are in the right place either end then this method works very well
