hi guys, want to upgrade my intercooler & hoses.But one of the hoses goes through a narrower section of metal tubing possibly reducing airflow have a s max 2.2 tdci x sport. is there anyway of keeping the same size all the way through? Bicycle part Font Sports gear Bicycle fork Auto part

Narrower tubing will improve the speed of the air flowing through it.

Unless restrictive to the flow of air then it wont matter. Get the tubing made to measure

with a larger diameter if it will fit in the same position and not obstruct anything else

in the same area.

Its one of those areas where thinking bigger is better is not always the case.

Its all down to the smallest port and thats likely to be the port into the cylinder

head.

Smaller pipes = higher airspeed, larger pipes more airflow. In theory but theory often

falls on its backside :)
