internal switch bulbs

i was thinking f buying the converted switches off ebay for my mk2 mondy but looking at the prices of them im considering trying to change the led myself.
does anyone know if it is easy to do and what sort of leds do i need , i cant seem to find a guide anywhere
im looking at doing all of the switches

sorry DC but he doesnt state what MODEL he has, so does it have all round electric windows? sunroof? traction control? heated seats? manuel or climate control and so on

nope, cant find any info about his car m8 at all so had to ask the question :p
hi . its a mk2 1.8 zetec. i need drivers side electric window swwitches, passenger side electric window switch, the clock,traction control switch,heated from and back screen switches, and the beam adjustment switch

ok then.. you'll need 12v 3mm leds with resistors for all apart from the clock that need plcc/2 SMD
hi sorry to hijack, im interseted too. How do you do them ?? cant i take old switches out take old leds (green) and relace with whatever colour??? i dont mind soldering???

yes.
you may need to fit the relevant resistor, some leds are sold with the resistors, just make a note of which way round they are fitted if you get it wrong they will not work
