Hi,

My car is a 98 Mondeo 1.8TD.
During my last MOT the tester said my nearside steering would need servicing for the next MOT.He mentioned the steering arm.(By the steering arm I'm sure he was refering to the part at the end of the steering gear that the track rod end screws on to.) Does this mean the steering arm can be replaced on it's own and that I don't have to replace the whole steering gear assy?
If so has anyone done the job and is it difficult?

thanks

Tony
