Ive noticed then when cold and for the first 5 mins of a journey, my 2003 facelift 2.0 TDCI 130, seems to be a bit jerky...

When sat at idle the revs can rise from between 900revs and 1000 revs.

It seems rough but once warmed up its fine?:

Is it a known problem or just due to the engine being cold and not responding properly????

Any help please.

Sounds similar, but ive not noticed a power drop when cold..

But thats due to me not booting it till its warmed up a tad...

do u mean that when running cold the engine would run very rough and keep jerking the car along?

If so that sounds pretty normal really...

i dont mean like kangaroo jumps, just slight jerkyness...

Not smooth, my old ibiza tdi never did it.

Why is it normal?
