Keeping the sills rust free, lot of work!!

Got a few little scabs on the sills so decided to treat them.

Got some kit together and the pics say all, not yet finished back to work tomorrow to finish of in body colour.

sure is a time consuming job waiting for paint to dry between coats. Left the car at work overnight for the black stonechip shield to dry, good job I work at a garage and have keys....

the pics might not be in the right order. The pics of the red paint are red oxide primer.

Impressive, what did you use to clean back the paint/rust?
Yeah, this seems familiar. I did mine about 18 months ago and the rust is just starting to appear. Will be doing it again in a couple of months - quite enjoy actually! :}
good work..

Used a wirh brush, wire brush attachment for an air drill and a die grinder. used some hammerite rust eater gel.
must have about 13-15 coats of various paints on now, just hope this is the last time for a long while.
