Hello everyone, this is the first time posting.

I have a Mk3 Mondeo 56 Plate Titanium X, have owned it since Feb 14', and there's been a leak at the rear of the car that occasionally leaks onto the rear seats. I've tried taking off all the trim and fiddling with the rear washer, which at a later date was corrected by ford (they thought this might be the leak).

However, it's still leaking, and since Ford the back window washer actually works, and doesn't seem to be causing a leak, so this couldn't of been the problem originally.

It doesn't ALWAYS do it, even after extreme heavy rain, it's only ever now and then, usually when turning a corner I noticed the dripping in the rear mirror. I have taken the rear light off, dried it, cleaned it, and re-attached it as tight as I could back to the window. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think it's coming from there.

Any possible idea's or solutions?

Cheers,

Sam.

Sometimes the actual washer nozzle doesn't seal to the bodywork and let's water in but that usually causes a steamed up 3rd brake light and a general dampness not an actual dripping of water. Where exactly do you see the water dripping from?

Had same/similar leak saw water dripping in middle onto the seat ,siliconed both sides of the rubber seal and placed the washer nozzle back not leaked since and rear window doesn't sweat as much.

Also have siliconed the two rubber gromets at the top of the gulley which stopped it leaking into the boot.

Sorry for delay in reply. Thank you for your reply, I shall give this a go. I haven't noticed the leaking in quite some time but you're describing the same problem as me so it's worth a look.

Thanks,

Sam.

If its only when your cornering the leak could be from elsewhere. As mentioned the rear

washer jet seal is one culprit, the front antenna is another and also check the boot seals.

Get the hosepipe or watering can out and try each item in turn.

Leaks can be tricky, because water can run along the trim and behind panels and come

out a fair distance from where the water actually appears in the car.

If its got a sunroof then the drain pipe may be a culprit also...

Not had a MK3 with a sunroof and keep forgetting that others may have one.
