Is there an easy way to make the turn signals blink when you give the opening command?
I want to have that active so I can install an after market leaving/coming home module, they work by the signal of the turn signals.

My 1998 Ghia, that didn't survive it's APK (Dutch variant of MOT) blinked once when locking and twice for safe lock.
My current one doesn't seem to have safe lock (yep, I tried the trick with the remote) it seems.
The one I have now is a 1998 "Business Edition"

First of all, try this test: http://www.mirez.co.uk/AlarmRoutines.htm

I think they should all deadlock with 2 button presses on the key lock button, or with the key in the lock, turning the key unlock-lock.

Here are some other central locking and alarm related links, by the time you've read the last link, you'll probably know a fair bit about the system.

I can't recall reading a post about getting a blink on opening, but if you want a 'trigger' for something when you unlock the car, the interior light comes on when you unlock, as well as footwell lighting (these can also be added if not fitted already)
