Mark 2 litre ghia. I have a problem with the wiring and connector to the headlight switch. The headlights always work but the connector to the dash lights and rear lights (one connector) has a dodgy connection and looks like it has got very hot and burnt part of the plastic surrounding the connection. With the part of the dash housing the switch pulled out, the switch connector feels very hot and i have to wiggle the wires to get a decent connection.
Has anyone else had this problem and can suggest a possible cause and / or solution? Not ideal to have to be wiggling the connection on the way to / from work on dark winters days!

its a common problem people usually clean the contacts up and if nessecary get a new switch easy to get hold of in a scrapyard
