The only bad thing i`ve heard about them is that the welds are a bit tatty.
alright, if GW doesnt get back to me when i get back this afternoon, il order one.
Thanks
doesnt give u any more BHP ... Doesnt give u more Torq ...

what it does do ....

makes the turbo spool up faster ( less lag )
makes the throttle response alot nicer and smoother
alowes the engine to rev more freely
The advertisment is wrong then. Does it give you the pull all the way through the rev range?
still not heard form GW for 3 days, anyone know if he still comes on here?
Hello Mate,

I read on here couple of days back that GW was on holiday. Can't remember when he is coming back though..............

A decat does give you more power and torque as the cat has a shite load of honeycomb type cells in it which is a big power zapper,in fact I read somewhere that it can be upto 20 horsepower ( dyno proven )..i`ve known people who had de=cats and had there car`s dyno`d before and after and they all had an increase in power ofter the de-cat was fitted. :kaffeetrinker_2:
well i will prove it, gettin it R.R on saturday standard, will fit the De-cat when i get one and do it again.
I was looking at that de-cat a few weeks ago and asked the same question as you on here. The response I got from someone who had bought one was that the flanges were far from flat and they'd had to use loads of exhaust paste to get it to seal.
I decided not to bother at all.
Thanks for that, im just going to wait for GW as he has a good rep on here, worth the wait.
