Hi Meggers!
Has anyone else noticed a whining noise from their MkII V6 Mondeos when lifting throttle between 30 and 40 mph?
As soon as I depress the throttle pedal gently it disappears. It definetly isn't caused by the engine and occurs in all gears, even in neutral. My guess is that it's a differential bearing on its way out but it could also be some sort of normal operating noise. I hope it's the latter...
